Here, it is the slower growth and all-year-round outdoor breeding in the South American grasslands that give our prime steer meat its premium quality and finely marbled, tender aroma. Alongside uncompromising freshness and quality breeds, we also ensure the shortest possible transport routes between the breeding station, slaughtering and cutting operations – all for a perfect result!
For frying, grilling, braising, as processed meat – our range includes a variety of cuts that allow you to enjoy maximum creativity in the kitchen. This means that we are able to offer you, for example, high-quality meat from the forequarter of the prime steer, such as brisket and shoulder clod, which are excellent for braised and boiled dishes and boast a full-bodied flavour. With fine veins of fat running through it, the loin of the prime steer is also characterised by tenderness and flavour. You can opt, for example, for striploin or spoil your guests with fillet and entrecôte. From the leg, we also offer you a selected range of cuts that are mainly suitable for braising, including rump steak, rump cap, goulash meat as well as meat from the topside and silverside. For searing, we recommend our prime steer abdominal flap, which is available as flank steak and flap meat. The offal from the prime steer is rich in quality protein and low in calories – this too you can get from Jacobsen in the form of prime steer tongue and liver.
